Roshan graduated with his MS in 2019 and PhD in 2023 from University of California, San Diego. His research lies at the intersection of wireless sensing and machine learning with applications to the IoT, indoor navigation, XR, and robotics. His research vision is to design and develop reliable and scalable sensing systems that connect the digital world with our physical world. His Bluetooth localization has been patented and is now a BLE5.1 protocol. He is actively working towards deploying his indoor localization system alongside Cisco DNA-Spaces at UCSD.
