Dr. Jayant K. Singh, a former member of the David Kofke group, has been appointed as Chaired Professor and Head of the Center for Development of Technical Education at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur).
Dr. Chen, who studied with CBE Associate Professor Chong Cheng, has been promoted to associate professor at the Fiber and Composite Materials department of Feng Chia University in Taiwan.
Professor Yumiao Zhang is the 2018 recipient of UB’s Outstanding Dissertation Award with the dissertation titled "Low-temperature block copolymer processing for biomedical applications."
The award was established by the China Scholarship Council in 2003, and it is considered to be the highest award given by the Chinese government to the graduate student study aboard.
