Computer science student recognized at Gov. Hochul’s State of the State address

Holliday Sims, a senior studying computer science, was recognized by Gov. Kathy Hochul during her 2024 State of the State address for her use of AI to innovate for the good of society. The recognition came after Hochul championed the creation of a $400 million state-of-the-art AI computing center, Empire AI, that UB is under consideration to house.
