Sreenivas Gollapudi, PhD
Research Scientist, Google
Sreenivas Gollapudi joined Google as a Research Scientist in January 2015. Prior to joining Google, he worked as a Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research (Jul 2006 - Nov 2014) and Principal Member of Technical Staff in the distributed database group at Oracle (Jun 1996 - Apr 2005). His other industry experience included a brief stint as a Software Architect at Ebrary in their Advanced Technologies Group.
He obtained his B.Tech. from IIT Bombay and his PhD from the University at Buffalo. He is a holder of 42 US patents. His current research interests include web algorithms, algorithms for large data sets, and game theoretic approaches to problems inspired by emerging sharing economies.
