In a roundup of higher education news, The Buffalo News reported that UB researchers that is helping people to recover from a stroke at home.
The system, called mRehab, pairs a smartphone app with 3D-printed household objects, to help survivors recover better at home.
Tech Space 2.0 referenced a 2018 study by Wenyao Xu about tracking 3-D printed objects.

WBFO-FM reported that UB researchers, co-led by Wenyao Xu , partnered with students from China in 2018 to develop a program that tracks potholes using small sensors in road surfaces in a story about current plans to fill in potholes around Buffalo.
The funding will contribute to advancements in artificial intelligence, clean energy, health care, cybersecurity and more.
