AIS' vision is to create a future world where AI systems are built by society, for society. We believe that the Social Sciences are an integral part of this mission — after all, the social sciences have been studying society for centuries (long before  the advent of computing and artificial intelligence). We strongly believe that social sciences are an integral part of the foundation on which AI systems by society, for society should be built. We are thrilled to have our next AIS open house be on Social Sciences and AI (the AIS open house series will be hosted monthly during the fall and spring semester) and we hope you can join us.
