The Buffalo News reported on whether the influx of visitors to Buffalo Niagara for the solar eclipse could stress the region’s cellular phone network, and quoted Filippo Malandra, who noted that all the digital activity—people sharing videos, photos, etc.—uses considerable data on systems that are built to accommodate standard levels of usage, not once-in-a-generation, mega-events.
