Schumer seeks to include UB, New York in federal AI research pilot

The Buffalo News reported that since Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Empire AI, Sen. Chuck Schumer has been advocating for Empire AI to play a key role in the National AI Research Resource pilot program, noting UB’s supercomputing center and multimillion-dollar AI research centers, including the National AI Institute for Exceptional Education, co-directed by Jinjun Xiong.
