Driverless car testing to begin in NY

A story on WGRZ-TV about a program announced by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to allow testing of driverless cars in New York State interviews Chunming Qiao, professor and chair of computer science and engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

"That technology is mostly still in the lab and being tested, except for a few preliminary technologies, like autopilot of a Tesla, it really has not been commercialized,” he said.
