WGRZ-TV reported that UB researchers have received a $293,000 National Science Foundation grant to fund neurodiversity training for computer science faculty. Faculty who complete the training will receive a micro-credential.
WBFO reports that UB learning scientists are using a $300,000 grant to create professional development that will teach professors how to best teach students with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence.
Several engineering students were among the winners of the inaugural 10 in 10 Design Challenge, where student teams developed climate action solutions for UB as part of the university’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.
