Ren Appointed Distinguished Lecturer by IEEE VTS

Kui Ren was recently appointed as a Distinguished Lecturer by the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS). The Distinguished Lecturer program provides expert speakers to local VTS chapters throughout the world on topics of interest to the vehicular technology membership community. 

Ren’s topics are cloud data security and privacy, securing emerging short-range wireless communications, and mobile crowdsourcing applications. His two-year term begins on July 1, 2014. Ren is associate professor of computer science and engineering.
