UB and Roswell Park develop AI tool to assess lung cancer surgery complication risk

UB researchers, including Venu Govindaraju  and Ranga Setlur, principal research scientist in the Center for Unified Biometrics and Sensors, have launched an AI tool called MIRACLE to help surgeons identify postoperative risks in patients with lung cancer. The Buffalo News and Becker’s Hospital Review also reported on the tool.
