NSF Director Sethuraman Panchanathan and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer visited UB to celebrate the opening of the $20 million, federally-funded, National AI Institute for Exceptional Education, directed by Venu Govindaraju, and to observe the many ways that NSF-funded research is driving innovation at UB. The Buffalo News, The National Science Foundation, WGRZ-TV, Spectrum 1 News and the Niagara Gazette reported on the visit.
