Fake news YouTube creators target Black celebrities with AI-generated misinformation

NBC News reported that YouTube videos are using a mix of AI-generated and manipulated media to create fake content with disinformation about dozens of Black celebrities, including preacher T.D. Jakes, with Siwei Lyu finding that two videos in search results for Jakes were nearly 90% likely to have been AI-generated.
