BOOM Fact Check utilized the DeepFake-o-Meter, developed by Lyu and his team in the Media Forensic Lab, to discredit an AI-generated video claiming to show U.S. soldiers captured by Iran and to prove that a video showing an Indian External Affairs Ministry spokesperson openly supporting Israel was AI-generated.
