Agence France-Presse utilized the DeepFake-O-Meter, developed by Siwei Lyu and his team in the Media Forensic Lab, to determine that a video of a Spanish soccer player refusing to shake President Donald Trump's hand at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final was likely AI-generated.
