USA Today quoted Siwei Lyu in a fact-check article about a post claiming that officials paid over $300,000 for a rainbow fire hydrant in Los Angeles, and in another fact check about an AI-generated video of Taylor Swift condemning the Los Angeles wildfires as “God's punishment” for the United States providing aid to Israel.
