AI-powered speech analysis tool wins UB entrepreneurship competition

SEAS PhD students Wei Bo (CSE) and Shuwei Hou (CSE) took first place at UB’s Henry A. Panasci Jr. Technology Entrepreneurship Competition for their company, SATE (Speech Annotation and Transcription Enhancer). SEAS undergrads Jacob Velesko (MAE) and Stephanie Brumbaugh (MAE) won the audience choice award for their company, AGROWBOTICS. The Buffalo News, WBEN and WKBW-TV also reported on the competition.
