WNY container farming led lighting companies team up with UB on AI solutions for plant health

The Buffalo News reported that UB artificial intelligence researchers are helping two local companies—Ellicottville Greens and Starco Lighting—develop an AI system that monitors the health of crops growing indoors. The idea is the brainchild of EE grad and Starco Lighting chief operating officer Muk Musleh, who is working with Jinjun Xiong.
