The New York Times quoted Siwei Lyu about a fake advertisement that appears to feature Taylor Swift endorsing Le Creuset pots.
Lyu said that the fake campaign was likely created using a text-to-speech service and added that it is possible to make a deepfake of “decent quality” in less than 45 minutes.
The Los Angeles Times, The Daily Mail, Yahoo!Entertainment and other news outlets published Lyu’s comments to The New York Times.
