Eggheads demo how to fool share-trading bots with carefully crafted retweets

The Register reported on a research study co-led by Jinjun Xiong, Empire Innovation Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. that aims to raise the financial community's awareness of the risks of relying on AI models.  

The study found that one can attack artificial intelligence algorithms by systematically disseminating incorrect information on social media platforms such as Twitter.
