Harshita Girase on the WNY tech scene, community-building and Buffalo Startup Week

An article in Buffalo Business First profiled recent computer science graduate Harshita Girase, mentioning the role UB played in her staying in Buffalo.

“UB’s computer science program is a pipeline to employment opportunities across the world, but Girase became a highly active student who identified with the budding startup culture in Buffalo,” the article states.

“I have gotten to know a lot of people here and like what Buffalo has offered me in the past four years,” she said. “Given how fast everything is moving and growing here, staying in Buffalo seemed like a great place to start my journey.”
