The Emerging Topics in Computing (ETC) symposium will cover topics in computer science and engineering, information technology and cutting-edge computing applications in academia and industries. In 2013, IEEE Computer Society launched a new transaction on emerging topics in computing which covers topics such as enterprise computing systems, computational networks, hardware and embedded system security, high performance computing, next generation wireless computing systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and new hardware for computing. This symposium will examine some of the recent developments in this area and start a new dialog between academia and industries.
