The IEEE Student Chapter placed second of 11 teams in the MicroMouse competition, which was one of the events at this year’s IEEE Region 1 Student Conference.
The UB “MicroBull,” an autonomous maze-solving robot, successfully completed the maze in just over two minutes. The showing was a big improvement over last year’s entry, which placed fourth. The event was held on March 28-29 at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
