An E&E News story on the growing size of offshore wind turbines quoted John Hall, assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
Hall said that whatever taps the brakes on building bigger turbines, it likely won’t be the limits of engineering.
“How big is too big?” Hall asked. “Literally, the sky may be the limit.”
