John Crassidis, SUNY Distinguished Professor and Samuel P. Capen Chair Professor in the UB Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, appeared on William Shatner’s new web-based TV show “I Don’t Understand with William Shatner” to discuss problems associated with space debris.
“As a young kid I was fascinated with space. I wanted to be an astronaut. Obviously, I was a huge fan of Stark Trek,” Crassidis says during a wide-ranging discussion taped last summer with the actor best-known as Captain Kirk.
