NBC Today quoted John Crassidis in a report that newly released photos show the damage from an unidentified rocket body that crashed into the moon’s surface and left an “unexpected” double crater.
“We just don’t understand why it created a double crater,” said John Crassidis, SUNY Distinguished Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, who was interviewed for the report. “I don’t know if that’s ever going to be explained to be honest with you.”
