Nanowerk reported on UB research led by Shenqiang Ren that examined a novel polymer which is a promising insulating material for high-power electric systems and advanced electronics.
“As we have demonstrated in our study, our energy-efficient polymer dielectric material possesses superior thermal conducting, mechanical and dielectric durability, and reliability across a broad temperature and frequency range,” said Ren, professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering.
