An article in Aviation Week reports Seamus Lombardo, a student in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, has been named to the magazine’s “Tomorrow’s Technology Leaders: The 20 Twenties,” an award that recognizes students for their academic performance, civic contribution and research or design project.
Lombardo is also the program manager of GLADOS (Glint Analyzing Data Observation Satellite), a miniature satellite being designed to gather light curve data on space debris and part of UB’s Nanosatellite Laboratory.
