Working with an interdisciplinary team of UB researchers, Edward Furlani has received $1 million from the National Science Foundation to develop smart wearable technology to advance health monitoring and disease diagnosis. He also received a UB school of  Engineering and Applied Sciences Teacher of the Year Award.
