Biography

Dr. Kacey Beddoes is the founder and director of Research in the Sociology of Engineering and a project director at San Jose State University. She is the recipient of a CAREER award examining gendered organizational socialization. She holds a PhD in Science and Technology Studies from Virginia Tech, along with graduate certificates in Women’s and Gender Studies and Engineering Education. Dr. Beddoes serves as the managing editor of Engineering Studies, Associate Editor of AJEE, and the past Chari of the SEFI Working Group on Gender and Diversity.
