This award recognizes staff members who are outstanding advocates for Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) in SEAS. (A maximum of two awards will be made each year.)

Recognizes a staff member whose extraordinary contributions and exceptional achievements reflect superior performance and have enriched SEAS.

Recognition of excellent performance by a staff member who is developing into an exemplary colleague and whose efforts notably advance the strategic mission of SEAS.

Recognizes excellence, innovation, or exceptional performance in student-facing staff whose primary role is to support students. (at least one award)

Recognition of staff members whose outstanding achievements go above and beyond the scope of one’s professional obligation. (at least one award)

This award is presented to staff for their effective mentoring commitments to other staff. It seeks to celebrate both what the mentor does and how they do it and can be awarded to mentors of all kinds (officially assigned mentors, peer mentors, mentoring networks, and informal or unofficial mentoring). As such, the nomination can be for a single individual or a group of mentors working collectively to offer support.
