Kofke elected AIChE Fellow

David Kofke was elected a fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) in recognition of his contributions to chemical engineering research. These include molecular modeling and simulation as well as software development; development of educational modules to teach students the methods of molecular simulation; and service to the profession in multiple roles including his service to CACHE (Secretary 2004-2006; Vice President 2008-10; and President 2010-12).

Recognition as a Fellow is the highest grade of membership, and is only achieved by election by the AIChE Board of Directors.

Kofke is a SUNY Distinguished Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
