Biomedical Engineering students can apply after Fall of Junior year grades have been posted, but no later than the start of the Fall of Senior year. Transfer students must complete at least one semester in the Biomedical Engineering BS program before applying to the combined degree program.
Students applying to the program must have completed at least 81 credit hours for the Biomedical Engineering BS degree. Applicants must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0.
International applicants will also be required to submit copies of their passport, Visa and I-20 if one has already been obtained, and financial documentation. These documents do not need to be submitted prior to applying, but if the department offers admission they must be submitted before the applicant can be formally approved.
You may start and return to the application at any time, you do not need to submit all components at once. Your application will not be reviewed until you have formally submitted and all supplemental materials are received.
Students interested in the BS/MBA program must first be accepted into the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences as an approved major. Students should take the GMAT/GRE and apply to the MBA program early during their junior year (third year course requirements). Students must formally apply to the MBA program by submitting the online application by April 1 (February 1 if you wish to be considered for financial aid in the form of a fellowship, scholarship, or graduate assistantship). Admissions will be limited to students who can satisfy the entrance requirements for the MBA program.
