Diversity in SEAS

We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse community—one that will enrich engineering education and empower our students, faculty and staff to achieve their goals.

Connect with mentors that align with your research interests.

Our students and faculty engage in fundamental research and pioneer new technologies that address big challenges faced by society.

As a Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) student at UB, you will have access to LSAMP staff that can pair you with award-winning faculty mentors whose research aligns with your interests.

Gain the skills you need to succeed.

LSAMP students and summer researchers have the opportunity to attend complementary workshops and networking events designed to help students develop and improve the soft skills employers around the world expect.
