An article in The Atlantic about the growing problem of space debris and satellite collisions quoted John Crassidis.

Payload Space quoted John Crassidis in a story about Astroscale, a Japanese startup with the mission to clean up space junk, with Crassidis noting that that the company becoming profitable is likely not feasible.

The three SEAS faculty members have been named recipients of the 2024 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities

Eleonora Botta was selected as the Young Professional of the year by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Niagara Frontier Section.

The two professors double the number of female faculty who have held the distinction in SEAS history. 

Dominic LaVigne, a mechanical engineering student, and partner Daniel Chan, a business student in the School of Management, came in second for their company, Exergi.
