The Buffalo News reported that “three towering figures” will be honored during UB’s commencement ceremonies, including Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering alum Marcus Yam.
A Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer and foreign correspondent for The Los Angeles Times, Yam will receive the Chancellor Charles P. Norton Medal, the university’s highest honor.
