Toyota to use artificial intelligence to hunt for new battery, fuel cell materials

The Drive reports that the Toyota Research Institute has awarded several universities, including UB, money to support artificial intelligence research to make vehicles emission-free.

UB was awarded $2.4 million for materials science research that aims to make next generation vehicles carbon-neutral.
