  • Paper Entered into ESPN Competition
    1/23/15

    A paper by ISE PhD student Niraj Pandey and recent BS graduate Kyle Cunningham “Alleviating Competitive Imbalance in NFL Schedules: An Integer-Programming Approach” with co-advisors Murat Kurt and Mark Karwan has passed two stages of review/competition and is now in the finals of the 2015 Sloan Sports Analytics conference competition. 

  • PhD Student Receives Society of Health Systems Recognition

    ISE PhD candidate Iakovos Toumazis is the recipient of the 2015 Society of Health Systems Graduate Student Paper Competition award for his paper "Scheduling palliative chemotherapy treatment for metastatic colorectal cancer patients."
