Philadelphia Eagles hire Zachary Steever as a quantitative analyst

The Eagles Wire, part of USA Today’s coverage of the National Football League, reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have hired Zachary Steever, who earned a PhD in industrial and systems engineering at UB, as a quantitative analyst.
In a Tweet about the hiring, ESPN football writer Kevin Seifert mentions how he interviewed Steever in 2019 when Steever was working with Mark Karwan, Praxair Professor of Operations Research and SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor, to make NFL schedules fairer.
