Use Library Resources to Support Research

Erin Rowley is the Head of Science and Engineering Library Services and an Engineering Librarian at the University at Buffalo. Before joining UB Libraries seven years ago, she worked in industry for nearly nine years as a research librarian at a consumer products testing laboratory. In her role at UB, she provides instruction on library resources related to engineering research including databases, technical standards, patents, and technical reports. Erin earned a BA in Communication from the State University of New York at Geneseo and her MLS from the University at Buffalo.

Ally Wood is an Engineering Librarian at the University at Buffalo. Prior to joining UB Libraries, she served as the Sciences and Engineering Librarian at Bucknell University for two years. At UB, Ally delivers instruction on engineering library resources, provides research consultations, and supports collection development. She holds a BS in Environmental Science from Allegheny College and an MS in Information Science from SUNY Albany.
