New protein vaccine approach could enable faster responses to Disease X

The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) reported that it will provide POP Biotechnologies, a UB startup co-founded by Jonathan Lovell, with $1.5 million for research into making vaccines against epidemic and pandemic threats.
