An experimental medical device built in Buffalo already is paying dividends

An article in The Buffalo News discusses how UB spinoff company Garwood Medical Devices is advancing its medical device, which was based on research by Mark Ehrensberger.

The device, called BioPrax, “could become the new standard for treating joint replacement infections by 2025.” The article references UB faculty members Mark Ehrensberger and Anthony Campagnari whose research is the basis of BioPrax; both remain involved with Garwood.
