3 medical innovations fueled by COVID-19 that will outlast the pandemic

Clinical Lab Manager featured three researchers, including Albert Titus, professor of biomedical engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, talking about innovations prompted by the pandemic that will outlast it.

Titus said that wearable technologies that can detect infectious disease, food poisoning outbreaks and many other conditions will be increasingly useful especially if they can begin to detect not just symptoms, which may be similar among several conditions but specific diseases.
