Undergraduate Students

COVID-19 Guidance for SEAS Undergraduate Students

The SEAS Office of Undergraduate Education is ready and eager to support you during this challenging time. Our office will continue to provide a wide range of advisement services. We are happy to assist you with current issues that you face as well as planning for the upcoming semesters. We are here to support you via email, telephone, and online videoconference meetings.

Prospective and New Students

Even though we cannot meet you in person right now, we are still excited to show you what the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences has to offer. Join us for online information sessions, live zoom chats and virtual tours.

Current Students

Academic advisors are standing by Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, (716) 645-2775, and advisement appointments are available Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. You can make an appointment with your advisor via phone or by using our online scheduling system.

When participating in a meeting with an academic advisor, we recommend that you have access to a computer so you can follow along with the many online tools that our advisors make use of.

Your home department will send any relevant updates regarding faculty advisement.

Graduate Students

COVID-19 Guidance for SEAS Graduate Students

The SEAS Office of Graduate Education is currently maintaining normal business hours Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and we are monitoring email outside standard business days and hours.

Prospective and New Students

Questions related to recruitment and graduate admissions should be sent to gradeng@buffalo.edu or call (716) 645-9099.

Admitted students are also encouraged to explore and register for Accepted Student Webinars. If you missed an event, be sure to your check our Past Webinars for recordings you can watch on your own time.

Current Students

Your home academic department will continue to provide support for any course and advisement related issues. Current graduate students that have a question about a specific course they are enrolled in are encouraged to contact the instructor of the specific course directly. Any general questions related to course advisement, registration, TA/RA appointments, tuition payments or graduation should contact their department’s specific Academic Coordinator or Director of Graduate Study.
