Hometown: Mumbai, India.

Why did you choose to study electrical engineering at UB?

The coursework, flexibility to choose subjects and professors who were working in areas I was interested exploring.

Tell us about your internship experience.

I worked at Mahle .  I created the testing framework in Matlab to test the Climate Airflow Control models designed in Simulink/Stateflow. I learned how processes are really important while working on large projects in an organization and how they help to make complex decisions. Process is everything!

How did you get the internship opportunity?

A representative from Mahle was at the STEM Fall career fair at UB.

What advice would you give students interested in internships?

Work on projects outside the curriculum in areas of interest. Talk to people on LinkedIn and at career fairs if you really want an internship.

Currently I am working at MathWorks, in Natick, MA as Quality Engineer after graduating in June 2019.

Anything else you would like to mention?

I am happy to help students if they need it. My LinkedIn profile is the best way to be touch.
