An article in Great Lakes Echo asking whether Lake Michigan is the most dangerous of the Great Lakes quotes Joseph Atkinson, professor and chair of the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering.
“Lake Michigan is the worst of the Great Lakes in terms of numbers of drownings,” he said.
