EPA awards $7.7 million for research grants to improve risk assessment of chemical mixtures in the environment

The National Law Review mentioned that UB is among 11 institutions that will share in $7.7 million in research funding announced by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Krishna Rajan, SUNY Distinguished Professor, Erich Bloch Chair and Empire Innovation Professor in the Department of Materials Design and Innovation, is part of a research team affiliated with UB’s RENEW Institute will receive $750,000 from the EPA to develop techniques that will enable scientists to study how mixtures of pollutants impact brain development.
