Research Topic

High pressure polymers, Polymeric materials

Paul Ehrlich received a bachelor degree from Queens College, New York City. Durning the war, he joined the US Army and served in Europe. After the war, Ehrlich went to the University of Wisconsin for a PhD. in Chemistry. After his degree, he worked for two years at the Bureau of Standards before accepting a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard. Later, Dr. Ehrlich joined Monsanto Company in Springfield and St. Louis. In 1967, Dr. Ehrlich joined SUNY Buffalo where he taught Chemical Engineering. In 1990 Dr. Ehrlich retired and moved to Lebanon. There, he remained active in his field of research in high pressure polymers in collaboration with Dr. Richard Stein at the University of Massachusetts Center for Polymer Research.
