Professor Sriram Neelamegham will receive the 2018 Schoellkopf Medal in recognition of his work in the areas of vascular bioengineering and glycoengineering. 

This event brings forth leaders in the field of Stem Cells to present their research. Join us for exciting talks and a poster session that showcases the work of UB and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center students.  

Congratulations to Stelios Andreadis on his promotion to SUNY Distinguished Professor which recognizes his many contributions to UB, to SUNY, and CBE.

An article on Buffalo Rising reports four UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences seniors, Amelia Veitch, Austin Reese, Andrea Oaks, and Austin Izzo, have secured a grant from Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW) to build a sustainable, wheelchair-friendly garden at the Buffalo Center (Rehabilitation & Nursing).

Tamara G. Kofke has made long-term and exemplary contributions to the teaching and service missions of UB CBE's undergraduate student program.


Program encourages collaboration among researchers, while serving as a springboard to external funding.


University at Buffalo researcher Edward P. Furlani has been named a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.


The awards come from SMART, a new initiative focusing on the future of manufacturing in Buffalo and beyond.
